Product Details:
It is for removing shims for cam to lifter bucket clearance adjustments on engines requiring special tool for SST 09248-64011
Place the Tool hooks under cam shaft and pushes down on the fringe of the lifter bucket depressing it enough to enable shim to be removed and installed.
Specifications:
Sliding T-bar for easy handling
High quality tool for use on cars with overhead camshafts which use spacer shims
The adjusting jaws lift and hold the camshaft for easy removal and replacement of the necessary shims
If your workshop manual specifies the use of tool number for SST 09248-64011, it is a direct equivalent.
