When waxing manually, first apply an appropriate amount of car wax to a sponge (a special waxing sponge), then apply it in a straight, back-and-forth motion in a certain order. Each application should overlap the previous application area by 1/5 to 1/4 to prevent missed areas and ensure even application. When waxing mechanically, apply the car wax to the waxing machine sponge. The application process is similar to manual waxing. It is worth noting that the application to edges, corners, and ridges should avoid exceeding the paint surface. Manual waxing makes this easier to control. ● Polishing. Depending on the instructions for different car waxes, polishing can generally be done 5-10 minutes after application. When polishing, follow the principle of polishing after waxing to ensure that the car surface is not contaminated after polishing. Polishing is usually done by using a non-woven cloth with a back-and-forth linear motion, pressing down with appropriate force to remove any remaining wax.
