Measure the thickness of the outer insulation of the coaxial cable to be stripped. Set the shallow cut depth to "Apply to outer insulation". Measure the distance from the outer conductor to the inner conductor. Set the cut depth to "Apply to inner conductor". Place the cable into the opened cutting head and release the spring tension.
