The heater is a powerful 150W unit. Its performance depends on the fuse's amperage. If the amperage is too low, the fan will run weakly, producing no heat or only slow heat. We recommend checking first if the cigarette lighter fuse is 15A. If so, the heater will operate normally. If the fuse is not 15A, you will need a power cord. The amperage is usually listed on the fuse holder or in your vehicle's owner's manual. Please consult these documents. Finally, we advise against replacing the fuse with one of a higher amperage, as this may affect the safety of the existing wiring. We recommend using an external power cord and connecting the red wire to the positive terminal and the black wire to the negative terminal. Do not connect the wires incorrectly.
